Monday, September 14th 2009, members of the Orange County Association of REALTORS® were treated to an exceptional panel of speakers. The Association’s Green Task Force Committee was responsible for planning the event and being on the committee myself I have to say we did a fantastic job. First, we were lucky enough to reserve such well respected group of speakers from the most relative organizations. What set this presentation apart from others that I’ve attended was the coaching our speakers received ahead of time to ensure they did not overlap material and touched on specific topics that would best relate to residential real estate agents.
The successful event also included a small, but select group of vendor booths like Laguna Green, Habitat to Humanity, Akeena Solar and CyberRain. The cost to vendors was very affordable at approximately $20 and was well worth it considering they were able to watch the presentation.
Speakers included Chandra Krout from the City of Irvine, Jana Maddux from CHEERS®, David Blanke from Build it Green and Jason Scheurer from Living Green Homes.
